1. Data Controller
WorkoutLive is developed and maintained by Marcos André, an independent developer based in Brazil. For this policy, the developer is the controller of personal data processed by the app.

2. Privacy Principles
WorkoutLive is built with privacy by default:
- Local-first storage: workouts, nutrition, preferences and progress stay on your device. WorkoutLive does not operate its own server for this information.
- No behavioral advertising: health data is not used for advertising or cross-app or cross-site tracking.
- Your control: you decide which permissions to grant and may revoke them at any time in Settings.
- Protected health data: HealthKit data is not used for advertising or shared with third parties.
3. Data Collected
Data you create, stored locally
- Workout plans, weekly plans and workout history, including exercises, sets, reps, load, rest and notes
- Activity sessions, including activity type, duration, distance, route when available and calories
- Nutrition records, including meals, recipes, meal plans, macros and hydration
- App settings, goals, reminders, voice and appearance preferences
- Achievements, consistency streaks, body weight and measurement history
- Profile and progress photos, assessments, measurements, notes and check-in data when you choose to record them
- Training or meal plans received from a professional through a code or voluntary sharing
System data, only with your authorization
- HealthKit: steps, sleep, heart rate, active and resting calories, distance, weight and workouts, according to the permissions you grant.
- Location: route points for outdoor activities when you allow location access.
- Bluetooth: heart-rate, cadence, speed and compatible fitness-machine data when you connect a sensor.
4. HealthKit Data
WorkoutLive uses Apple HealthKit only with your explicit permission. It can read health information to personalize the experience and write workouts you choose to record. HealthKit data is not used for advertising, sold or disclosed to advertisers.
You can review or revoke access at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > WorkoutLive.
5. iCloud and CloudKit
When you enable iCloud Sync, compatible data is synchronized through your own Apple iCloud/CloudKit account. WorkoutLive does not have access to your Apple ID credentials and does not operate an independent cloud account for your routine data.
6. Camera and Photos
Camera and photo-library permissions are optional. They are used only when you choose features such as a profile photo, progress photos, meal images or importing a document or image. Photos remain on the device or in your iCloud account when sync is enabled.
7. Location
Location is optional and is requested only for outdoor activities that use GPS routes. You can select the system permission level and revoke it at any time. Location is not used for advertising or continuous tracking outside an active activity.
8. Audio and Voice
WorkoutLive may use speech synthesis for optional workout feedback. It does not record or send microphone audio to its own servers. If a system feature requests audio permission, it is controlled by the corresponding Apple service and system dialog.
9. Notifications
Notifications are optional and can include reminders, hydration prompts, meal schedules, workout plans and weekly summaries. You can customize or disable them in the app or in system Settings.
10. Sharing
Sharing a workout, plan, report or professional-plan code is initiated by you. WorkoutLive does not publish your information publicly on its own. Third-party destinations such as Mail, Messages, FaceTime, Apple Music or Spotify have their own privacy policies.
11. Retention and Deletion
Local information remains on your device while the app is installed. You may remove individual records in the app or remove the app to delete local content. Data synchronized through iCloud remains in your Apple account and can be managed through Apple's tools. Backups and exports are controlled by you.
12. Security
WorkoutLive relies on iOS and iPadOS protections, such as device encryption, Keychain, app sandboxing and Apple account security. No method of storage or transmission is entirely risk-free, so keep your device, passcode and Apple account protected.
13. Your Rights under LGPD
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, deletion, portability and information about sharing. Because most information is stored locally or in your Apple account, many actions are available directly in the app, device settings or iCloud. For assistance, contact us by email.
14. Children and Teens
WorkoutLive is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children without the required consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a minor has provided information improperly, contact us so we can help address the request.
15. Policy Updates
This policy may change to reflect product, legal or security updates. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continuing to use the app after the update means you have had access to the revised policy.
